Theology

The objective of this strand is to challenge the student to study Scripture from an expository point of view.  Integrating the Old Testament with the New Testament, and progressing from a micro perspective to a macro prospective of Scripture, we believe will enhance the student’s ability to rightfully divide the Word of Truth.  Our two-fold emphasis-first, regarding one’s vertical relationship with God, and secondly, understanding one’s horizontal relationship with their fellow human beings-is designed to create a more holistic perspective of Scripture.  It is our desire that the student will move away from the tendency to find selective passages of Scripture that support their personal value system or philosophy of life, and instead, allow Scripture to, as G. Campbell Morgan says, “speak for itself.”
